All right, ladies, it’s officially the season of sandals, chiffon minidresses and the ever-appropriate florals! (All at the same time, now: “Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking.”)
Last week, I introduced you to some of my favorite Japanese designers, including Tadashi Shoji, whose elegant ruched blouse I wore in that outfit post. This week, let’s continue with a designer best known for her bright colors and whimsically drawn patterns: Tsumori Chisato. Her most recent collections have been inspired by warm-weather locales like Guatemala and Egypt, with tie-dye tights and rainbow-hued oversized sweaters. One of my faves: this ruffled minidress with embroidered neckline and bottom hem that’s covered in manga-style mermaids with flowing, seventies-perfect hair, which I paired with cotton candy-colored accessories.
